Using Mahara across the curriculum

|

What is Mahara?

Mahara is an ePortfolio (electronic portfolio) - an online personal space accessed through Moodle (single login). An electronic portfolio can be described as an online collection of reflections and digital resources (such as documents, images, blogs, CVs, multimedia).

Students can use an eportfolio to demonstrate their learning, skills and development over time to selected audiences. They can create Mahara Views (or webpages) very easily using simple drag and drop techniques.

Mahara is available to any school that already uses Moodle although knowledge of using Moodle is not essential to learning about Mahara.

In-school training and consultancy is available.
