Lancashire believes that Learning Outside the Classroom is essential to ensure that we give all children and young people the skills, knowledge and experience they need to take advantage of all that life has to offer.
It shows them new horizons, takes them outside of the ordinary experiences, and allows them to explore the opportunities that could be open to them.
It is particularly vital in narrowing the gap in experience for children and young people who are limited by their personal or family circumstances.
It requires extra effort and commitment on our behalf but the rewards for our students and their learning are things that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.
