What is the Race Equality Mark?

|

Lancashire's Race Equality Mark is a useful self evaluation tool for schools.  Most schools will be already be doing much of what is required by Ofsted and by the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 : the audit process will help flag up the gaps and inform action plans as well as recognising effective current practice.

Support is available for Lancashire schools wishing to achieve the Race Equality Mark.  There is a plaque which is presented at the end of the process.  Please contact the Cohesion and Diversity Teacher Advisor, Jane Richmond on 01772 533788.
