Providing sufficiently challenging classroom provision is a priority for schools. Challenge is best developed when schools focus on giving pupils opportunities to develop their thinking, to explore unfamiliar ideas, to take more responsibility and to develop the skills of independent learning. These schools recognise that doing more is not synonymous with challenge.
There are many book materials and web sites which offer AGT activities. In this section there are some materials developed by Lancashire teachers who recognise how challenge can be introduced.
If you have AGT materials which you have developed and are willing to share, do contact us as we are keen to promote good lesson ideas.
