Planning for Change

Action Plan

Having identified your priorities for development, you next need a plan of action. You might find it useful to establish a general overview setting out the main steps for the next three years or so, supported by a more detailed plan for the current year.
(Download attached document to obtain an action plan template)

It is important to set aside an initial period of time for research, training and awareness-raising to inform your plans.
A period of experimentation and "trying out" can be useful, with new approaches attempted and successful strategies identified which can be shared with all staff.
Working with others is essential to the success of this whole-school development, including Senior Leaders and Subject Co-ordinators.
