Trail : home / Faith Centre
This exciting facility was established by Lancashire County Council in 2006. The Centre is a safe space where people of all faiths and none come together to tell their stories and share their values, beliefs and hopes. The Faith Centre is able to provide schools with specialist support to embed British Values into the curriculum, promoting tolerance, respect and a clear understanding of the diverse communities and their contribution to British Society. This allows schools, teachers and children to promote community cohesion as part of their every day lives.
We have developed an exciting and engaging offer for Primary & Secondary schools. Through purchasing our Service Level Agreement (SLA) schools can get support with Faith Visits and visitors, staff training on tackling controversial issues, special assemblies, promoting British Values and much much more!
