LGfL ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES - TEXTEASE

TextEase
Textease is a powerful program combining word processing with speech, desktop publishing and multimedia authoring. All Lancashire schools have at least one copy. It is also a useful presentation program that teachers can use with the whole class, or a group, on a large screen.

Further details, licenses and a demo version of the program can be obtained from www.textease.com Maths resources can also be downloaded from the Textease site at www.textease.com/maths.htm

To complete the exercises below children will need to be able to click and drag graphics, numbers and text. They will also need to know how to scroll up and down the page using the scroll bar.

Even if these examples are not exactly what you are looking for they may give you some ideas about how to use Textease to create your own resources. If you would like to add to the collection please email your file and we will include it, acknowledging you and your school. Email to primary@ict.lancsngfl.ac.uk

Click on one of the Textease links below to download a file to your own disc (or right-click and Save Target As..) Please feel free to adapt these files and Save As.. eg 'newfile'
