Learning Environment

The Learning Environment should be so much more than just aesthetically pleasing. It should make an active contribution to children's independent learning. Interactive displays, high frequency words, grammatical terminology and vocabulary, WAGOLLS (what a good one looks like), text features, book corners and easily accessible resources, for example, all contribute towards pupil progress.

The working wall document will help teachers to develop learning prompts which reflect the teaching sequence and support children's independent learning.
