• The Professional Development Centre is a training venue for early years practitioners, with purpose built training rooms and interactive learning environments for children from birth to the end of their reception class and beyond.
• The Centre also houses an information lounge to support practitioners' professional development.
• The Centre aims to help practitioners implement the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Practitioners can drop into the Centre during opening hours to look around.  An early years advisor will be available to offer support if requested.
• The training rooms can be booked, prices are available on the website: www.lancashire.gov.uk/childcare
• Lancashire childcare practitioners are welcome to book staff meetings, subject to availability at a reduced rate once per term: *Small room £25.00 (max 8) * large room £50.00 including refreshments.
• Visitors from outside Lancashire are very welcome.  A charge of £10.00 per person is payable and includes refreshments.

How to find us.
Head north on M6 towards junction 28 B5246.  Turn left onto Leyland Way B5256.  At the roundabout take the first exit onto Canberra Road.   At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Church Road.  Go through the traffic lights to the Leyland Cross.  The Parish Church will be on your left and Tesco on your right. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto Fox Lane.  Continue to the end of Fox Lane and turn left at the roundabout onto Leyland Lane. A signpost to Seven Stars Primary School is on your right.  Turn right on to Peacock Hall Road.  At the first set of gates turn right into the car park of the Professional Development Centre.
